"design, create, grow, enjoy"

St. Pauls Garden Club

Inspired by Nature. Crafted with Love.
May 3, 2025 Garden Tour

Eight unique and personal gardens in located in Hollywood, Meggett, Ravenel, Adams
Run, and Yonges Island were on display this perfectly beautiful day.

Nearly 100% of our members contributed their time and talents in order to make this
event happen. We continued our garden tour traditions of a complimentary continental
breakfast to start, and our homemade luncheon, featuring our famous chicken salad
and desserts. And, we even added something special to the lunch break with The
Plantation Singers, a popular local gospel group.

The Plant Sale was bigger and better than ever! All plants were propagated, potted and
prepared by our members who know how to grow the best plants!

Wrapping up the day was the raffle drawing and live auction of 30 theme stuffed raffle
baskets and special auction items. Delicious refreshment were served.

St. Paul’s Garden Club is a team of hard working members who come together for this
event to raise funds for our mission: to create, fund, and provide community
enhancements and beautification projects, and advocate for environmental concerns.

A special Thank You to our Garden Tour Homeowners who offered us a look at their
private haven with hospitality and generosity.

A Bit About Us

Mr. O. Morton Edwards (the father of Jim Edwards, a future governor of SC) established the St. Paul’s Garden Club in 1929.  He taught agriculture at St. Paul’s High School and began the garden club as a way to educate and involve community members in improving their surroundings.

A few years later in 1932 the club was federated as a member of the National Council of State Garden Clubs, Inc., The Garden Club of SC, Inc., South Atlantic Region, the East Low Country District and the Council of Garden Clubs of Greater Charleston.

The St. Paul’s Garden club serves St. Paul’s parish which includes Adams Run, Hollywood, Meggett, Ravenel, Edisto, Rantowles and Yonges Island.
